Updated Wordpress Theme

The theme used by this blog is a version of Skimmed Milk by Thortz that has been modified to use the color scheme in the original theme White as Milk by Azeem Azeez. The former brags over the latter its support for widgets and internationalization, among plenty.

Hello again, world.

I am still Kristina Lim — but now twenty-one (21) years old, and six and a half months formally employed. If you were curious about my whereabouts, I have been writing code and brainstorming with Syndeomedia most of my time, and have not been particularly up to anything at other times.

It is close to eleven months after college graduation, and finally, it seems I am starting to get a hang of the changes. So, like all others who have come and gone, I come again.

Hello again, world. ;-) And welcome to i-think.com.ph.

ClustrMaps

I came across ClustrMaps through errorflag’s blog. The system gives each of its users the URL of a page that returns an image. Each time the image, actually the page, is accessed, the system takes note of the location of the visitor, makes necessary changes to the counters for the website, and returns an updated cluster map of visitors of the website.

Here is my cluster map:

(EDIT: The cluster map can be seen at the sidebar.)

I tried setting the timestamp for this post a century ahead so that the message gets loaded everytime someone access the main page of my online journal, but the blogging system does not publish post-dated entries. It also kinda sucks that I am not able to change the theme (which includes the actual code) of my blog, and can not include a thumbnail on the sidebar. But then again, this is a free account.

Oh, well. Until this entry reaches the next page.

“Unsleepable” WordPress theme

I was checking out the available themes for blogs in WordPress.com, and found a new addition that I really fancied – Ben Gray’s Unsleepable theme. I tried it out, though, and noticed that the theme does not render code in a font with uniform width. For the information of those who do not yet know, WordPress.com users with free accounts are offered a selection of themes to choose from, but are not allowed to make changes to the design. I switched back to White as Milk by Azeem Azeez right away.

New blog

After a one-year subscription, I have decided not to maintain my former domain. I will be using this blog from now on. My subscription with the web host NomadPh expired before I got to get a database dump, so I will not be able to import previous blog entries.
